Fox Family Foundation
Est. 2026
Privacy

Your privacy, plainly explained.

We are a small foundation built by a family. We treat your information the way we would want ours treated.

Effective July 2026

The short version

We collect as little as possible, we use it only to run the foundation, and we never sell or rent your information. That is the whole philosophy; the rest of this page is the detail.

Who we are

The Fox Family Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit (EIN 30-1492395) that provides IVF grants to adults with Cystic Fibrosis. This policy covers foxfamilyfund.org.

What we collect

Information you give us. If you write to us through the contact form or by email, we receive your name, email address, and whatever you choose to tell us. If you donate, our payment processor collects the details needed to process your gift.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we receive basic technical data when you visit: pages viewed, approximate location (city or region, from your IP address), device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site.

We do not ask for, and do not want, medical information through this website. Please do not send health details through the contact form.

How we use it

To answer you when you get in touch, to process and acknowledge donations, to send a tax receipt, and to understand in aggregate which parts of the site people find useful so we can improve them. That is all.

We never sell your information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone, for any purpose. We do not share your information with other organizations for their own marketing.

The services we use

Running the site means a handful of trusted companies process some data on our behalf:

Donorbox and Stripe handle donations. Payment details go directly to them; we never see or store your full card number. See the Donorbox privacy policy and Stripe privacy policy.

Google Analytics tells us, in aggregate, how the site is used. It sets cookies and collects the technical data described above. See Google's privacy policy.

Vercel hosts the site and provides a privacy-friendly, cookieless view of page traffic. See the Vercel privacy policy.

Cookies, and how to turn them off

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Ours are used only for analytics, never for advertising.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics entirely with Google's opt-out add-on. The site works fine either way.

How long we keep things

Correspondence is kept only as long as it is useful for the conversation and our records. Donation records are kept as long as required for tax and reporting purposes.

Analytics data is retained for 14 months and then deleted automatically. We have turned off the setting that would extend that window each time someone returns to the site, so the clock runs from when the data was collected.

Your rights

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Depending on where you live (for example, California or the European Union) you may have additional rights, including the right to opt out of any sale of personal information, which is straightforward for us because we do not sell it. To make a request, email Dominique@foxfamilyfund.org.

Children

This website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Security

The site is served entirely over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and payments are handled by established processors with their own security programs. No system is perfect, but we take reasonable measures to protect what we hold.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the effective date above. Significant changes will be noted here.

Questions
